The William Layne reading rooms at Aston nr Rotherham were sensitively restored and refurbished to reflect the history and importance of the building which won a Public Realm RIBA White Rose Award for Excellence in Architecture and the Built Environment following the 22 week contract.

All original features were retained and restored by craftsmen who are specialists in their trade.
