The project was for the internal strip out and refurbishment of wards in an existing Hospital. The works included the revamp and expansion of the Haematology Wards O1, O2, P3 and P4, including the haematology clinic, and the construction of a new bone marrow transplant unit.
The contract was undertaken whilst the hospital remained in full 24 hour use and close liaison with the hospital staff and medical teams ensured that disruption to every day running of the department was kept to a minimum for the duration of the 42 week contract.
